[Galileo] exploitable signals of the Giove-A satellite by all

Galileo, the system of géo positioning by European satellite, a new step crossed towards its nearest introduction.
Launched last on December 28 then activated on January 12, 2006 to receive its signals, the first satellite of test GIOVE-A of the future system of competitor positioning by satellites European of American system GPS, Galileo, has been for a few months in the course of advanced test in England where an immense antenna was laid out 25 meters in diameter making it possible “to listen to the signals of Galileo.
This time, the ESA (arranges space European) announces that the documents making it possible to have technical details as for the use of the signals of Giove-A were published. That thus allows to the various manufacturers receivers to be able to start the development of new terminals the owner.
To note however that the structure of the messages of Giove-A is different from that of the signals of navigation of the Galileo future. However, the potential use by all of the signals of Giove-A will make it possible to emulate and carry out technical tests on this new architecture of messages, who only differs very slightly compared to the next Galileo signals.
The signals of navigation of Giove-A give access amongst other things the corrections of clock necessary to the calculation of the elements of positioning with a correct quality of signal. The time of simulation thus passed, community of the users being able from now on to reach and validate the personal applications which could be developed around Galileo.
