Sony OLED plastic film display - world first innovation
Sony recently announces its world first 0.3mm thick full color OLED/organic TFT display on plastic film, The flexible display comes with 2.5-inch running at 120xRGBx160 pixel. Usually OLED display made by hard glass plate and semi-conducting material, but now you’ll found the OLED display by plastic film, i just can say: Great innovation! Its features 1,000:1 contrast ratio. According to Sony official site, it will be showing to people for the first time at SID (Society for Information Display) 2007 in Long Beach (CA).
