Sotec WinBook DN7030 Laptop
Sotec, Japan-based manufacturer recently announced its new laptop based on “Santa Rosa” platform, the DN7030. This 15.4-inch WSXGA+ 1,680×1,050 display sports an Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 (1.8GHz) processor (expandable up to T7700 2.4GHz), 80GB 5400rpm SATA hard drive (expandable up to 160GB), 512MB DDR2 (667MHz) main memory (expandable up to 2GB), NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS with 256MB VRAM graphics engine and dual-layer DVD burner. The DN7030 support a wide-range of connectivity options, including WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, 4-in-1 card reader, USB 2.0 x4 and weighing 2.9kg. It has pre-loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium and will be available in Japan at July 6th with standard configuration price is €845 or right around ($1,138).
