Polaroid, Japan-based manufacturer recently presents “FLJ-3236″, its new 32-inch Hi-Vision Liquid Crystal Television with integrated digital TV tuner and HDMI connector, allows the users to enjoy high picture quality digital video from the sources via the same thin cable and receive / view local over-the-air TV broadcasts. Priced at Â¥59,800, The FLJ-3236 boasts a resolution of 1,366×768 pixels, Brightness 500cd/m2, Contrast ratio 1,500:1, Speed of response 6.5ms and Angle of visibility top and bottom / left and right 176 degrees. Furthermore, It loads HDMI×1, D4 input ×1 and S image input ×1, composite input ×2, analog RGB×1 (D-Sub 15 pin), PC audio input (stereo mini-) ×1 and head phone output ×1 for connectivity and consumes 200W electric power.

    Anyone out there had any experience with Polaroid televisions? I’ve seen decent deals on their TVs in recent years, but always been gun shy about even checking them out, because “Polaroid” just doesn’t scream “awesome TV” at me, ya know? It screams “loud obnoxious camera that takes really crappy looking instant photos and has been rendered obsolete by digital cameras.

    Anyway, I’m curious if anyone has any experience with these things?
