Sharp 2.2-inch Super Thin-Shaped LCD
Sharp getting ready to release its new 2.2-inch 240×320 (QVGA) resolution TFT liquid crystal display technology for mobile devices. This new LCD modules combine technology characteristics of the Sharp AQUOS Liquid Crystal TV, referred to as the ASV LCD with Sharp’s proprietary small format display technology, referred to as the Advanced-TFT making it ideals for mobile device, such as camera phones, PDAs, digital cameras and personal media players, which display streaming video content or color images. Along with the 6.08mm thickness, this LCD also offers 2.000:1 of contrast ratio, eight-millisecond speed of response and angle of visibility both up and bottom / left and right 176 degrees.
According to Sharp, This Super Thin-Shaped LCD will be exhibited at Pacific Yokohama “FPD International 2007″ event starting from October 24 to 26.
