Raytel EGO Drive GPS Navigation
Raytel — the American partner of German Funkwerk — planned to showcase its new GPS navigation system, called “EGO Drive” at CES 2008 event in Vegas next month. Besides a pretty design and remote control, The device also boasts a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth connectivity that allows users to utilize their bluetooth-enabled handset in a handsfree mode, a text-to-speech functionality, DSP technology for noise and echo suppression and SD card slot (up to 2GB supported). Moreover, this high-end satnav device also offers a light-sensor to adjust the illumination of the screen, complies with all hands-free laws, audio streaming (A2DP and AVRCP), integrates and mutes car’s stereo system and can accommodate up to 10 different user profiles. Price is still unknown.
