Garmin NuviFone Cell Phone With GPS
Garmin has decided to hop on the phonewagon with GPS and recently the company announced the “NuviFone” in New York City. This GSM and HSDPA network support smartphone is runs on its operating system and integrated with GPS navigation and camera module. Set to be available in quarter three of 2008, the NuviFone also features Google local search, Garmin’s Online services ( traffic, weather, fuel prices, hotel discounts, etc) - nuvi-like navigation on the road or in pedestrian mode - Email, text, IM functions - media player which support to playback a MP3 and MPEG4/AAC formats. No pricing or carrier announcement has made yet, though its likeliest compatible network is AT&T given the technology.
