JVC has introduced their latest GZ-HD5 and GZ-HD6 camera recorder which equipped a hard drive , allows the users to record much more video than MiniDV or DVD camcorders without switching out tapes of DVDs. The first one coming with 60GB of storage capacity and will be available in March for $1,199.99. The second one, GZ-HD6 has a 120GB of hard drive which can be store up to 10 hours of video and the price is set to $1,399.99.


Additionally, both of models features a Fujinon HD lens, progressive scan 3CCD imaging system, MicroSD ports for expansion, and a JVC’s HD Gigabrid engine that offers a Full HD and 1080p mode with 30 frames-per-second recording capability.

    This looks like a great camera. I hate changing out those discs on my current camera. I may be looking for an upgrade in March when this comes out. Just gotta find a way to pay for it. Thanks for sharing.
