Onkyo APX-2 HD Audio Computer
Onkyo teamed up with Sotec to released APX-2, a HD audio PC that offers a high-quality sound in music experiences. The APX-2 is powered by a Core 2 Duo T5500 (1.66GHz) processor, a 1 GB of memory, a 500GB of hard drive, and probably built-in 2 channels digital amplifier, with ability to handle 4 Ω impedance with maximum power output at 100w each.
Additionally, in order to reduce the vibration effect and noise, Onkyo stored the hard drive in a “Super Floating HDD Unit� and pre-loaded with Vista-certified volume mixer function and Pure Direct Audio Path (PDAP) to enhanced this entertainment-centric computer sound-quality. The unit would be available in February 29th at an MSRP of 250,000 yen.
