Known as a market leader in consumer electronics and world leader in IT technology, Samsung Electronics presented its newest 12.1-inch (1280 x 800) P200 Ultra Portable Laptop targeting at a business uses during CeBIT’08 conference in Hanover, Germany. On the specs department, this Samsung’s P Series-based device is powered by the Intel’s latest chip (Penryn), up to the Core 2 Duo 9500 processor, ATI’s powerful Radeon Xpress 1250 graphics card, follows by 6-cell battery, offers up to 3.1 hours of computing power.


The P200 also supports a wide range of connectivity options, including a 10/100 Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.0 plus EDR(Enhanced-Data-Rate), Atheros Super G wireless, 6-in-1 memory card slot, PCI Express card slot, USB 2.0 x2, and an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam that offers a simple way to keep in touch with colleagues using video conferencing or live messaging. The P200 itself have a weight of 4.2 pounds, and available in Europe for €999 (or around $1,517).

    I never use Samsung laptop before. By the looks of the specs i think its a great lappie to buy. Up to core 2 duo 9500, i guess it’s worth it for the price.

    Ok, I am not a fan of Samsung but I kond of like the design. I am using Acer and maybe in the future I might consider switching to Samsung.

    I’ve never had a Samsung laptop either, I’m only familiar with acer. Still, the specs looks awesome and for a reasonable price also.
