Navy is going to launch the U.S.S. Independence a.k.a Littoral Combat Ship which have designed by General Dynamics. This trimaran is the first of the new fire-breathing breed, ready to scoot out of dry dock at a rumored 60 knots. The ship itself bargain at $208 million and Navy planned to build approx. 55 unit.
