Talk about rugged handheld devices, Datalogic has a new Rugged PDA phone that integrate barcode scanner called Pegaso. Measures 6.9 x 3.2 x 1.9-inches and weighs 16.9 ounces, this quad-band GSM, GRPS, and EDGE network support handset comes with Marvell PXA270 processor clocked at 520MHz, 3.6-inch VGA/QVGA display, USB port, Bluetooth 1.2 and WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity, SDIO slot, either 64MB or 128MB of RAM, 128MB of flash storage, and either Windows CE 5.0 or Windows CE 6.0. No idea on how much it will cost, but you can purchase the Pegaso direct from Datalogic.
