NEC ShieldPRO FC-N22A Rugged Tablet PC

NEC has just released the ShieldPRO FC-N22A Rugged Tablet PC that runs on Windows XP Pro SP2. It comes with a magnesium-alloy cases that meets the IP55 standard for water and dust protection to keep it works in outdoor temperatures from –20 to +50°C, even after being dropped 90cm. The tablet uses 12.1-inch screen with LED backlight and XGA resolution, Intel’ Core 2 Duo U7500 (1.06GHz) processor, and combined with 512MB of RAM (expandable up to 4GB). The ShieldPRO FC-N22A price is set at £2,200.
