ePassport With OLED Display
Samsung SDI and German Bundesdruckerei has developed an ePassport featuring bendable 300µm OLED display within 700µm polycarbonate data page. All information (video + text) that contains on the passport could be read/watch through the display without internal batteries as it will beaming when activated by a reader. In addition, the materials used for the display are heat-resistant, so it can be laminated and hence protected against manipulation.
