TDK HS1 Series SSD Drive
TDK Electronics, a Japan-base company has recently announced its new HS1 Series of High-Capacity 1.8-inch eSATA Solid State Drives for notebook PC that boasts a read and write speeds max out at 100MB/s and 50MB/s, respectively. Adopts the latest single-level cell (SLC) NAND flash memory, the units are equipped with power management functions, and consumption current during SATA slumber mode is at the lowest levels in the industry-approximately 20 mA.
In addition, an internal security system encrypts data for storage in the flash memory without reducing data transmission speeds within the SSD controller. A verification system supports access protection structures. The HS1 is currently available in Japan with a capacity range from 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and the price is set at 90,000,150,000and 200,000, respectively.
