Asus G50V And G71V Gaming Laptop
Asus has showcased a couple new gaming notebook during Computex 2008 event in Taiwan. The first of two is G50V that features 15.6-inch WXGA 3D display - no glasses required to achieve 3-D effect, Geforce 9700M GT graphics card with 512MB of GDDR3 memory, 320GB of SATA hard drive, up to 4GB of DDR2 800MHz memory, sturdier keyboard designed for gamers, HDMI, Intel’s upcoming Centrino 2 platform with the mobile PM45 chipset and an option for WiMAX.
As for G71V comes with 17-inch display, DDR3 1,066MHz memory, support for dual 2.5-inch 500GB hard drives, Altec Lansing speakers, support CPU overclocking, and has built-in TV-tuners. This machine also will packs a Centrino 2 platform and same graphic card like G50V.
