Sony Bravia KDL-32JE1 LCD TV
Sony announced it’s released an energy-efficient Bravia TV — the snappily named KDL-32JE1. The 32-inch LCD set achieves a 232% efficiency rating — that’s just 86kWh/year — to easily best the 164% rating required for Japan’s highest five-star “Energy Saving Label”. And of course that means smaller electricity bills. It features a resolution of 1366×768 in WXGA, contrast ratio of 2500:1, HDMI interface, a digital TV tuner, and 178 degrees of side-by-side viewing. The KDL-32JE1 will be available in the Land of the Rising Sun from July 30th for around ¥150,000 or about $1,387 after conversion.
