Sony HDR-CX12 HD Camcorder
Sony has just update its AVCHD powered camera portfolio with the announced Sony HDR-CX12. Measures 69 x 67 x 129mm and weight 420 grams, the camera sports 10.2 effective megapixel “Exmor” CMOS sensor, 8GB Memory Stick instead of HDD, support Full HD recording at 1920×1080i resolution in AVCHD (Mpeg4 AVC/H.264, 16Mbps), as well as the HDV support (1440×1080i) in 5/7/9Mbps, HDMI output, and Bionz technology enabled a higher ISO setting and much more powerful flash illumination. The HDR-CX12 will be available in Japan on July 20.
