Technology giants Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and ATI Technologies Inc. (ATI) is proud to launch its new ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 a.k.a. “R700″ with 2.4 teraFLOPS of processing power, make it holds a tittle as a world fastest graphics card today. It is uses an AMD’s single video card solution with a whopping 2GB of onboard memory for the high-end gaming enthusiast crowd. Just to remain you, Nvidia’s RSX GPU already found on PS3 that promises performance of 1.8 teraFLOPS, while ATI’s chip in the Xbox 360 promises 1.0 teraFLOPS. The ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 should be available from various “e-tailers” soon at an MSRP of $549.
