Nokia Announces 5800 XpressMusic Touch Phone
Nokia is going to release its first touchscreen-equips S60 smartphone, the Nokia Tube 5800 XpressMusic, starting from quarter-four of 2008 at an expected sale price of €279 or about $391 which it nearly half price of the unlocked iPhone 8GB version on some European operators. The 5800 XpressMusic packs a large 3.2-inch touch-screen display that is capable of showing 16k colors at 640 x 360 resolution with a stylish input, a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics, an eight-gigabyte of internal memory, microSD card slot, 3.5mm audio port, and pair of stereo speakers. It runs on quad-band GSM / EDGE network with 3G / HSDPA support, and has included a Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, and A-GPS receiver for navigation.
