Asus Debuts G71 Gaming Laptop

Asus officially introduced the world’s first Intel Quad Core Gaming notebook — known as the Asus G71. Specifically designed with gamers in mind, this G Series-based laptop packs an Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9300 processor, a 17-inch Crystal Shine high brightness display with a quick response time of 8 ms, a NVIDIA GeForce 9700M GT GDDR3 512 MB graphics card, Blue-ray burner, up to 4 GB of DDR3 1066MHz memory, and dual hard disk drives of up to 1 TB (500 GB x 2). The G71 also will come with a 2-megapixel web camera and Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR. No idea on pricing or release date.
