
Quaduro Systems yesterday unveils Quadpad E84, its new Tablet PC that comes with a daylight-readable dispay which may be used to communicate information as high contrast images (static or dynamic, color or monochrome) in bright ambient lighting conditions over a wide temperature range in direct sunlight. Regarding specs, this slate-shaped mobile computer packs a 8.4-inch touch screen display at 800 x 600-pixel resolution boasts 300 nits brightness, 1GB of RAM, a 1GHz Celeron processor, Bluetooth and W-Fi connectivity, PCMCIA II expansion slot, SD/CF memory card slot, and a 8GB of Solid-State Disk that can be run Windows XP Home or Windows XP Professional OS. No word on pricing and availability though.
