NEC announced their new 8.9-inch (WSVGA) magnesium alloy-based mini notebook that they claim has been tested to withstand 150kg force on top of it for 5 seconds and the screen isn’t cracked and netbook still works, known as the Versa N1100. Under the hood, you’ll found an Intel Atom N270 CPU, a 60GB of hard drive, a 1GB of RAM, and 3-cell battery. The Versa N1100 is running under Windows XP, integrated Wi-Fi connectivity and 1.3-megapixel webcam. Unfortunately, price and release date have note been revealed.
